The Raw Material of Bimodal Polyethylene

In 1950 the first polyethylene pipe was produced.
During 1970s second generation polyethylene for water and gas was produced.
During 1990s bimodal polythylene was discovered.
Two important properties are needed in order to obtain excellence in polythylene pipes. Resistance and functionality. To maintain these two properties together, two molecule particles with different weights can be placed in one molecule in a suitable and optimum manner. This can be obtained in bimodal polythylene. In the structure of bimodal molecule, there are polymer particles which contain long chains of polymers that enable the pipes to be durable and short chains allow the operation to be efficient. The kind of raw material can only be obtained by polymer producers that have high technological capability. In addition to the known superiority of bimodal polythylene pipes:
Highly resistant against fast and slow paced cracks.
Increase the volume of flow of fluids.
Inclination to deflection is minimum.
It allows more wider horizontal cross-section.

As the inner layer of the pipes are smooth and even, particles during the process cannot cause any damage or hold on to the inner layer. Therefore the flow is efficient and resistant against lime.
The inner layers of the pipes do not allow any formation of moss and bacteria.
