Pakplast PPRC Pipes and Fittings

Polypropylene Pipes can be used for applications such as:

Domestic hot and cold water distribution.
Domestic heating system.
Industrial Systems.

Pakplast Composite Pipes consist of 3 layers. The inner and outer layer comprises of polypropylene (PPR). And the layer in between consists of glass fiber and raw material of PPR combination.
The Glass-Fiber-Reinforced PPR pipe which is formed by the combination of the advantages of straight pipes and and foild-backed pipes provides high efficiency and usage advantages and thus resolves several disadvantages.

Advantages of Composite Pipes

Pakplast Composite Pipes do not require shaving. Therefore it allows for faster application.
Pakplast Composite Pipes have an expansion coefficient which is close to that of foiled pipes, they can be used as an alternative to foiled pipes.
Pakplast Composite Pipes do not exude moisture nor elongate.
Pakplast Composite Pipes are freeze resistant. However, apparopriate insulation should be applied by taking the freezing point of the circulated fluid into consideration.
Pakplast Composite Pipes do not causeany change in the color,odour and taste of the water. The pipes are environmentally friendly.
Pakplast Composite Pipes do not cause heat-loss which apprears at foiled pipes.

Main Properties of PPRC Pipes

Pakplast polypropylene pipes are resistant against chemicals and functional in acidic and toxic environments.
Pakplast polypropylene pipes are rustproof and do not react to corrosion.
Pakplast polypropylene pipes have a smooth inner surface and the particles within the fluid cannot hold on the surface. This allows long service life and high flow capacity.
Pakplast polypropylene pipes do not allow any bacteria lining such as moss. They are certified by an international health and hygiene association.
Pakplast polypropylene pipes are flexible and have high impact resistance.
Pakplast polypropylene pipes are easy to install when compared to traditional piping materials which saves time and cost.
Pakplast polypropylene pipes are lightweight, easy to transport and store.
Pakplast polypropylene pipes will not react with cement and lime. No insulation on the pipe is needed for under plaster applications.
Pakplast polypropylene pipes are heat resistance, the heating installation can operate up to 95 degC.
Pakplast polypropylene pipes' life expectancy is minimum 50 years. The operation of the pipe can be extended to 100 years.

The Guidelines

Protect the pipe from hard and sharp materials.
Do not use damaged, deformed or cracked pipes.
Do not leave the pipes under direct sunlight for extended periods.
Clean the pipes and fittings before the welding process.
Always cut the pipes only with a special scissors.
Do not twist the pipes and fittings after welding process.
In situations when bending is required the pipe must be heated with hot air. Do not use naked flame.
